Mesmerising Destinations
Namastayz yoga & meditation retreats take you on life changing journeys to mystical & spiritually rich destinations. Each adventure retreat is curated by the Namastayz team to ensure your experience is authentic, culturally sensitive, immersive, & unforgettable.

India
A land of so many colours, stories, flavours & contrasts. India is the country where the idea for Namastayz began. Visit India and you can not help but be inspired & fall in love. The homeland of spirituality, India is so diverse from the Northern mountains and Tibetan Buddhist influences, to the Southern tropics, beaches & Tamil culture. Regardless of which part of India you journey to you will be captivated by its people and scenery. Cities so bustling -cars, tuk-tuks, rickshaws & cows flight for right of way, and temples in the hills so peaceful the sound of your breath is a private orchestra.
Namastayz offers retreats to North, South, and Central India - do them all because each one is as uniquely mesmerising as the next.

Nepal
Nepal, a spiritual blend of Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism, is the perfect destination to visit temples and monasteries, and to experience both Hindu and Buddhist practices. A small country it is easy to get around, so you can visit beautiful lakes, national parks, cities, tribal villages, and trek the highest mountains all in the same visit if you choose. The oldest yoga drawings (on wall murals) can be found in Nepal (Tibetan Buddhist) making Nepal an important influence in the history of yoga. Nepal is famous for Mount Everest trekking but there is so much more to explore in this culturally diverse and scenic country. Nepal is also a gateway into Bhutan, Tibet, & Mongolia. There is something very special about Nepal, and when I leave I always want to go back.

Bhutan
Bhutan - the name calls out as a destination shrouded in mystery and magic. When I was growing up Bhutan was a country only a few people were ever gifted the opportunity to visit. High in the clouds, secretive, and isolated. Images of magestic monasteries, red robed monks, shaggy cows (now I know they are yaks), natural beautiful valleys, soaring mountains, and a secret yearning to taste yak butter tea! Well Bhutan has not changed at all except now it is a little easier to visit. To exlpore Bhutan you must still arrive, stay with, and leave on an officially approved tour with a Bhutanese guide. This helps to protect Bhutanese culture but also means a minimum spend of $250USD per day per person; this is why our Bhutan retreats are a little more expensive - oh and we also include the return flights Kathmandu Bhutan and your required visa. Our Bhutan adventures begin and end in Nepal. Bhutan is a captivating destination, enigmatic and imbued with a powerful and pulsating spiritual energy that you vibrates throughout your entire being.

Sri Lanka
Tropical, green, and Buddha are three words that come to mind when I think about Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is a small country that offers many diverse experiences from colonial influenced cities, to tropical mountains, and picturesque beaches. A mainly Theravada (meaning "way of the elders") Buddhist country the Pali Canon and Buddha Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha we most often picture when we think of Buddha) are very important in the lives of Sri Lankans, who believe the path to nirvana is a personal journey. There are many stupas, monasteries, monks, & Buddha statues to see in Sri Lanka, along with ancient Buddhist cities and magnificent Buddha filled caves, dating back thousands of years, to explore.
Around 15% of the Sri Lankan population are Hindu. Most are Tamil and live in the Northern most area of Sri Lanka, however, there are Hindu temples, ashrams, and deities to be found all over the country.
Join us for an adventure across the country or an Ayurvedic panchakarma treatment (healing cleanse) in the hills, and experience the spiritually rich energy of tropical Sri Lanka.
Mongolia
Journey with us on an exhilarating adventure in Mongolia, a Buddhist land bursting with expansive and breathtaking landscapes and a unique and vibrant culture. From the endless steppes (vast green plains) to the majestic mountains, every part of this mystical country is mesmerising. On our Mongolia yoga adventure we practice in spiritually charged, stunning locations, and gain a little taste of Mongolia's fascinating nomadic lifestyle when we stay in tradition yurts or "gers". Our retreat to Mongolia is one of natural beauty, unique experiences, and filled with adventure. Find wild horses in the national park, visit Tibetan Buddhist temples and monasteries, enjoy the warmth of the locals and their traditional way of living with the land, and experience the natural beauty of the untouched landscape. In Mongolia we will dive into the practices of Tibetan Buddhist yoga or Yantra yoga and enjoy learning it's ancient wisdom, traditions, and beliefs.

Laos
Embark on a spiritually enriching adventure in Laos, a country renowned for its stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The majority of Laotians are Theravada Buddhists so monasteries and monks are a feature of this retreat. Staying on the bank of the Mekong river in Luang Prabang, our namastayz retreat to Laos is our only retreat where we are based in the one location the entire time. Cruise the Mekong, visit sun bears and elephants in ethical rehabilitation rescue centres, experience a traditional local folk ceremony, give alms to the local monks, visit Buddhist temples, and caves, relax at stunning waterfalls, enjoy famous Laotian coffee in little coofee shops (the best in SouthEast Asia), and savour delicious Laotian food.
Laotian people offer a warm and welcoming hospitality and unlike other parts of South east Asia Laos is still largely off the beaten track for many tourists. Our Namastayz retreat promises to create unforgettable memories in one of Southeast Asia's hidden treasures.
